INTRODUCTION TO GLASS CASTING
Instructor: Andy Bally
In this exciting 1-day hands-on workshop, students will learn everything they need to know to begin casting on a small scale, with a work area no larger than 2 feet. From the clay sculpture to finished product, this class is designed to cover all the basics. Explore clay work, plaster-silica mold production, selective color application, cutting billets, firing, and finishing. Students can expect to leave with a solid understanding of the casting process and the ability to begin working independently with confidence.
